Advantages of biomass chain grate boilers

Advantages of biomass chain grate boilers
When using the traditional layered combustion method, due to the high moisture content of biomass fuel, the drying and preheating process requires a long time, which will cause ignition delay, difficulty in burning out, and low boiler efficiency in the chain furnace.
Compared with circulating fluidized bed boilers, chain boilers developed based on the characteristics of biomass fuels have a simple structure, convenient operation, and relatively lower investment and operating costs.
Due to the large grate area of the boiler, the grate speed can be adjusted, and the wind seeding feeding method is adopted. The furnace volume has sufficient suspension space, and the fuel is in a suspended and layered combustion state, which can prolong the residence time of biomass combustion in the furnace and facilitate the full and complete combustion of biomass fuel.
Based on the characteristics of fast volatilization analysis of biomass fuel and the need to supplement a large amount of air during combustion, a large number of secondary air nozzles are arranged around the furnace to fully mix the fuel with air, ensuring the full combustion of biomass fuel and improving the combustion efficiency of the boiler. Arrange sufficient heating surfaces in the furnace, control the flue gas temperature at the furnace outlet, and reduce the corrosion of the high-temperature superheater.
