Prevention and Treatment Methods for Circle Formation in Rotary Kiln Burners

Prevention and Treatment Methods for Circle Formation in Rotary Kiln Burners
The rotary kiln manufacturer's machine is a professional rotary kiln manufacturer, suitable for the stable performance of various materials for calcination. The prevention of ring formation in the rotary kiln is mainly due to the formation of liquid phase in the material at a certain temperature and area, which is prone to ring formation under conditions of large temperature difference between lining and material. Therefore, the method to prevent ring formation is to appropriately reduce the initial liquid phase in the material and minimize the temperature difference between the lining material and the material.
(1) Choose a suitable ingredient plan, stabilize the raw material composition, and improve the level of calcination operation. Generally speaking, burning materials with high saturation ratio and high silica content is not easy to form circles, but it is difficult to calcine, which is detrimental to protecting the kiln skin and clinker quality. Burning materials with low saturation ratio and low silicic acid content has a narrow sintering range, a large amount of liquid phase, coarse particle formation, difficult to control calcination, and easy to form circles. Burning materials with high saturation ratio, low silicic acid content, or low saturation ratio, high silicic acid content can easily burn without agglomeration. Therefore, the ingredient plan should adopt a high saturation ratio and a high silicic acid rate to appropriately reduce the amount of molten mineral, which is beneficial for preventing agglomeration. In addition, materials with high alumina content have high C3A content, high liquid viscosity, and are prone to agglomeration. In the ingredient plan, the aluminum oxygen content should be reduced under the condition of appropriately reducing the liquid phase amount in the material.
Handling method:
To reduce the phenomenon of agglomeration, the first step in production is to take measures to prevent agglomeration, that is, to use correct operating methods, stabilize the feeding amount, make the material layer thickness appropriate, ensure drying and preheating effects, reduce the burst and pulverization of green balls, and control the coal feeding amount, not too large, to maintain the temperature within a low range, and to avoid slag phase.
After the occurrence of agglomeration, it is necessary to handle it in a timely manner, otherwise there will be adverse consequences such as widening and thickening of the kiln wall, which increases the difficulty of treatment and even affects the normal production process.
There are three methods for removing knots:
(1) Install a movable alloy scraper inside the kiln;
(2) Add an appropriate amount of fuel and burn the adhesive;
(3) Change the high-temperature zone.
Comparatively speaking, the first method requires higher material requirements for the scraper and is not easy to implement; The second method is feasible, but from the perspective of energy conservation, it is not ideal and difficult; The third method, we believe through practice, is a feasible approach. The so-called appropriate modification of the high-temperature zone is achieved by adjusting the air flow of the rear grate induced draft fan. The degree of opening and closing of the box flap allows the combustion point or flame to pull back and forth, which can easily cause the bonded kiln ring to fall off and achieve the purpose of removing the ring. This method not only saves energy, but also is simple and easy to operate.
